Preuro was designed with clear mechanics and utility from day one. The primary purpose of the $PREU token is to act as the governance key to the entire ecosystem. Holders of $PREU vote on which of the 9 historic European currencies (the German Mark, Italian Lira, etc.) will be revived next.

Following a successful vote, holders of $PREU receive a proportional airdrop of the newly launched historic coin. This creates a virtuous cycle: to participate in the ecosystem's governance and benefit from its growth, one must hold $PREU.

On Speculation: A Design for Long-Term Holding

Preuro's core mechanics are designed to strongly incentivize long-term holding (HODLing). To be eligible to receive the free airdrop of a new coin, you must be holding $PREU at the time of the snapshot. Selling your tokens means forfeiting your access to future airdrop opportunities.
